Ukulele Rendezvous
Our Ukulele Rendezvous are the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. All skill levels are welcome. Just grab your ukulele and music stand, then strum on over to the Ocotillo Room at the Kino Center at 2 pm - 3:30 pm. This is a strum and fun time, with a little learning along the way. Look forward to seeing you there.
Beginner Workshops
If you have never played a ukulele this is a great place to start. We offer materials and hands on instruction including how to hold the ukulele, where to put your fingers on the fret board... what the heck is a fret board, how to strum… etc. This class is held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month in the Ocotillo room at the Kino Center at 1:45 pm. Intermediate Workshops
If you would like to learn some new techniques, maybe a new strum or some more complicated songs, come to the instructional sessions on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm in the Ocotillo room of the Kino Center.
Our Normal Schedule
Place: Kino Conference Center Ocotillo room
1st and 3rd Mondays from 1:45 pm to 2:15 pm we provide beginner instruction if there are enough beginners
1st and 3rd Mondays from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm we try out some more advanced techniques or we hold performance practices
2nd and 4th Mondays from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm we hold our club rendezvous, playing and singing and having fun
